CapitalMLS.com provides free access to the DC area Multiple Listing Service (MLS). With CapitalMLS.com you can search all properties for sale in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
Real estate transactions and the use of MLS are highly regulated, so please pay close attention to the following:
- The MLS contains all properties listed by all real estate companies in the area. In few occasions, real estate companies choose to withhold their listings from public view. These properties are only accessible by Realtors.
- Due to privacy laws, and regulations governing the use of MLS data, not all information for each listing is available to public view. Information that is not available to public view is accessible by me and can only be shared with clients.
- While searching the MLS, you will have the option to submit an inquiry about a property. All such inquiries come directly to me. This is a useful tool for existing clients to inquire about, or indicate their interest in a particular property.
- The information that appears under each property, including pictures, is what was entered into the MLS by the listing agent. I do not have any property photos beyond what you can see, and unless we have already established a client relationship I am not allowed to provide you any additional information beyond what you can already see.
- Some users send requests to view a property. Unless we have an established relationship I am not able to show you any property. Please contact me to discuss the possibility of working together first.
- Realtors® are prohibited by the Code of Ethics to interfere with the relationship of another Realtor and their client. As a result, if you are working with another real estate professional, I am prohibited from assisting you in any way. Please contact the Realtor you have been working with and they will be able to answer all your questions and provide you with additional information.
